One of the metropolitan cities of Gujarat, Ahmedabad is the convenient gateway to the entire state of Gujarat. The city embodies some fine museums - the Calico Museum of Textiles being considered among the world's renowned museums, containing some of the rare masterpieces of ancient times. Ahmedabad enjoys its own international airport where flights to Middle -East and other countries take off almost every day.
