About Patna
A land where Buddha's sacred feet had their imprint, Patliputra or Patna was also the seat of power of the great ruler Chandragupta Maurya. Patna museum and Jalan museum conserve most of the memories of that ancient period. Other attractions within city limits include Gol Ghar, Oriental Library, Patna Cemetery, Padri-ki-Haveli, Har Mandir, Agam Kuan and Mahendru Ghat.
