Rajasthan is located in the
northwestern part of the subcontinent. It is bounded on the west and
northwest by Pakistan, on the north and northeast by the states of Punjab,
Haryana, and Uttar Pradesh, on the east and southeast by the states of Uttar
Prad esh and Madhya Pradesh, and on the southwest by the state of Gujarat.

Jaipur : It is also known as the pink
city and is the most visited place in Rajasthan. It is famous for the
ancient monuments, the great food and an amazing shopping experience it
offers.
Jaisalmer : The city despite
being surrounded by sand is a vivacious and a colorful city and celebrates
every aspect of life to its fullest. The tourists are especially attracted
towards the desert festival conducted in the months of Jan-Feb.
Jodhpur : Set at the edge of the
Thar desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes the tales of antiquity in
the emptiness of the desert. The city houses grand palaces, lovely forts,
beautiful lcations and stunning temples which reflect light upon the
grandeur of the city.
Bikaner : This ancient city lies
to the north of Rajasthan and is dotted with the sand dunes. Know as the
Camel country, Bikaner still retains the radiance of the medieval times that
pervades in its lifestyle.
Samode : The city nestles within
its old walls in the dry rugged hills of the northern Aravallis. The old
havelis and their paintings full of character and life lie at the head of
the enclosed valley and is now converted into a hotel.
Sawai Madhopur : Situated on
the main Delhi-Mumbai railway line, Sawai Madhopur is one of the most
visited tourist places of Rajasthan. Rich in history and legends, the town
is the gateway to world famous Ranthambore National Park - the famous tiger
reserve of Rajasthan.
Udaipur : This is the city also
known as the city of lakes and has the most beautiful forts, museums and
palaces for the tourists to admire. The place has its own charisma and
elegance which magnetizes the people time and again.
Ranthambore : Surrounded by
the Vindhya and Aravali hill ranges and located very near to the outer
fringes of the Thar Desert, Ranthambore offers the best of the desert land
as well as plain area near the hills. It has the famous Ranthambore National
Park which is a major attraction in India.
Mount Abu : The only hill
station in Rajasthan, Mount Abu is more than just a summer retreat. Its
stunning array of exquisite Dilwara Jain Temples, dating back 11th- 13th
centuries, make it a popular pilgrimage centre.
