About Vadodara
Located to the east of Gujarat, Vadodra is an important cultural centre of India. Vadodra is 100 kms from Ahmedabad and 392 kms from Mumbai by road. The city also has a well developed airport and railway station. Palaces, museums and parks are Vadodra's best attractions. Sayaji Bagh is a big well laid out park housing the Baroda Museum, Art Gallery, a small zoo and a planetarium in it. The Naulakhi well, a fine example of step well and EME temple, a unique temple with an aluminium roof are also major tourist attractions. Excursion to places like Anand, Dabohi, Dakor, Bharuch and Champaner are also advisable.
